Queen's University Belfast

I loved my stay in Belfast it´s a nice and friendly city. A tip is to really make the most of your stay..try to travel around, there´s some amazing scenary by the coasts. However don´t travel too much because time really passes by fast and you don´t want to miss out on anything in Belfast either.

Research the area you're going to study in before you go. Find out where you will live and research what is around you. Plan out where you want to travel while you are there.

I stayed at Elm´s Village accomodation in a dorm with ensuite bathroom. It was ok. The positives were that it was very clean and that almost everyone you socilaized with lived there too. The drawbacks were that it was pretty controlled, after 11 o´clock at night (some nights) they checked peoples studentcards by the entrance. For security reasons, only students and really only students that lived at Elm´s Village were allowed to get in. This made it difficult to have friends from back home come and visit.
