Overall
Often times at large universities you can feel like just another id number, but at Portland State the professors actually want to see you succeed on a personal level and connect you with different learning opportunities specific for you.

the campus life at PSU was not the one I expected, i.e. it's an urban university and there're not as many things going on there as in others campuses.

Final comments
I lived 4 miles form the campus and downtown Portland, and shared an apt with other roommates so that we could split the utilities and also we had the extras of living in an apt complex (pool, 24-hour gym, sauna, ...)
