“Master's in Mechanical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano”
anonymous
Italie, Master
Ingénierie, Mechanique, 2020
Évaluation globale
From an educational point of view, the university stands at a very high level justifying the amazing rankings gained recently, in particular in Mechanical Engineering. The professors are very well-known and the research areas are cutting-edge. However, from recreational and general facilities (Library and studying areas, sport, canteens and etc.), unfortunately it resembles a 3rd world country university.

“Master in multichannel marketing management”

Italie, Master
Marketing et Gestion de Ventes, 2016
Évaluation globale
I studied in a one year international master program.
Groups are small, of about 15 students each. In order to be permitted to final exams there was a strict limit on missed classes, meaning that you cannot work part-time. The program covered both basic and new marketing technologies, half of exams were group projects.

“Life of an Aeronautical Student in Politecnico DI Milano”
Mayukh J
Italie, Master
Ingénierie, Aéronautique, 2021
Évaluation globale
If you are an international student and planning to pursue your Master's degree at Politecnico di Milano, be prepared for an intense theoretical based study programme covering every aspect of aeronautics and space.
The course work is rigorous with simultaneous classroom-based education and laboratory work. It is entirely taught in English, but there are few subjects that are Italian. But you are an international student and are not proficient in Italian, you have the liberty of choosing another equivalent subject of the same study credits and add it to the course curriculum.
The method of examination and evaluation of your course understanding can either be a written test or an oral discussion with the professor, or a combination of both!
You require to score a minimum of sixty percent in the examination to pass the subject. And if you're not satisfied with your score, you have the liberty to reject your score and reappear for the examination once again. Within an academic year, you can appear for the examination a maximum of 5 times, until you are satisfied with the score and choose to accept your result.

i think the experience of studying abroard is as much about the studies as the general cultural and life experience. the politecnico is good for offering both these as it is a pretty typical italian educationnal establishment. basically, you're going to get out of this uni as much as you give to it , no gifts.

dont stay in milan. milan is possibly the best place to actually live in italy, its easy and a little more open adn international than other cities, theres lots to do, entertainment and cultural wise. but you can't miss out on the travel. travel is cheap, trains cost about one third of what they do in england and its a pretty smalll country. you can be in rome in 4 hours. places no to miss are the obvious, venice, florence, bologna, rome but check out the lakes (como, garda, maggiore) , the cinque terre, siena (and tuscany in general). if you get the chance, hit naples and poositano, the amalfi coast(beautiful). the mountains by novara are nice too. turin is close and worth a shot.

“Good quality of studies, too much for masters tho”

There are so many courses to choose from, very well taught, a lot of information provided. It's still a full-time study programme, meaning that the schedule is not always friendly with those wanting to work as well during studies.
