Why?
The campus housing was modern and beautiful, as well as central. It had fitness facilities, bike rooms, party rooms, etc. and the rooms themselves were spacious.

Polarbaer was the hip hangout. Also, in the summers, the beer gardens ("Bierkeller"in is what the Bambergers call them) were the places to find the young people.

Nightclubs Orange, PP's and Downstairs not to be missed. Cafe Mueller as the Cafe where all the students go. Cultural old town, Cathedral, Residenz all must sees.

The quality of facilities provided were much superior than at home. My halls had TV, internet room, library, cafe, function rooms and even a chapel!
