Final comments
Honestly, Corvallis is not a vivid city, so there is not much to do. However, I tried to learn about my host country as much as possible and to make my stay abroad as special as possible. And I succeeded. So, you can do it as well!
My travel tips:
in Oregon: Silver Falls and of course the coast!!!
in Washington: Seattle
in British Columbia: Vancouver
Hawaii! - If you can do it, do it!!

People are very friendly, helpful and talkative over there. So you get in contact with people easily and you can take advantage to talk a lot and ask all the things you haven't known yet. In this way I've improved my language skills to a great extend. Also, all the papers we had to write for classes helped me to enrich my vocabularly!

The housing was pretty close to the university, so it didn't take me long to get there. However, in my eyes, it was too expensive and didn't offer a lot for that price. The good thing was that I had wonderful neighbours!
