People are very friendly, helpful and talkative over there. So you get in contact with people easily and you can take advantage to talk a lot and ask all the things you haven't known yet. In this way I've improved my language skills to a great extend. Also, all the papers we had to write for classes helped me to enrich my vocabularly!

What can i say? Oregonian English is easy to understand and I did not have any troubles understanding my fellow students or teachers.

I experienced too less contacts with native speakers (US students). I learned to communicate in everyday situations in exchange with other international students.

Overall I had no problems with the language of instruction. There were a few expressions I didn't know but learned as time went by.
