Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
I had an excellent experience in sharing an appartment with my friends. Now I know the difficulties too of taking care of an appartment yourself, I think it is really worth it since you have complete independence in every way.

Personal comments
Since I chose my accomodation independently, in an appartment off-campus I cannot judge the dorms. However, from their outside appearance they did look nice, and pretty new buildings for the most part.

Beginnings where quite hard for me!
Especially during classes!! particpation to classes is really important in the US and you have to raise your hand quite often. At the begining I had a hard time to follow all the debates and discussions within the class, but after 2 or 3 monthes things becames easier!
Actually you don't even realize that you're getting better and better everyday, and that's the best part of it!

Academic
Course recommendations
The best thing is to choose your classes according to what you like to do! I personnally did not chose all of my classes cause I had a lot of requiremnt regarding to my double diploma!
Marketing class are great and if you can take a class where the main activity is a simulation it's a very good experience!!

Overall
I transferred here at the start of last semester, and it was one of the best decisions I made. Northeastern University has provided me with a ton of amazing opportunities I wasn't able to get elsewhere, and their engineering program is going to help me get the career of my dreams.

Transferred to Northeastern from USF and could not be happier. Co-op program is really helpful, especially if you are international student. Professors are great, and classes are challenging, which is good.

Final comments
It was, indeed, a wonderful experience. However, I would recommend that anybody willing to study in the United States try to think like an American ASAP. This is a necessary step towards integration.
