Being study in alient, it is always necessary to learn local language and understand the local culture background. It would help you to melt into the local life and used to it. Before came to Holland, I could not speak Dutch, after several months living in Holland, I have communicated with Dutch poeple, speaking Dutch to them, gradually, I can speak more and more. Try to open your mouth and don't be shy is my way to learn and this method is really working!

I wrote many reviews and I ended up deleting them always because I wanted to be more optimistic and I thought that maybe they will change their attitude. However, this seems that is deeply rooted in Stenden’s philosophy. Listen to my experienced advice and do not enrol in any of their courses. I am currently doing my last semester here, if I would have the chance to go back in time I would not get anywhere close to NHL Stenden. I don’t think NHL Stenden should be even called an university, I don’t get how such a joke can function as a higher educational institute in a country like the Netherlands. They must bribe around a lot to get away with this joke.
