“Challenging but fulfilling experience”
Benedict L
Singapore, Graduate
Statistics, 2021
Overall
Depending on your major, courses can be of a highly technical nature. Teachers usually have some experience in research and are meticulous in teaching. Teachers are also usually open to interaction and would provide extra help when required. Students are open and collaborative. Campus facilities are more than sufficient.

Academic
Course recommendations
The courses are graded on a curve which is different from quite a few American universities. Also Finals are heavily weighted which is a difference (>50% typically). Singaporeans work hard so the curve makes it a little harder to get the A. Overall though, I felt they were fair and learned quite a bit in some of my courses.

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
Because off campus we were free to organize our days without any sort of constraints and to manage our social lives in the most indipendent way. Furthermore.. so nice to share a flat, cook, have parties in your own place together with friends from all over the world..

Personal comments
We were living at the 15th floor of a sky scraper 20 min far from the campus but we were pretty close to the City so that we didn't miss the facilities of the Campus.

Professors are highly experienced as well as being open to any discussion going beyond class. Finally, the career office helps to review CV, train for consultant interview as well as proposing a range of jobs and internships
