Boat Quay, Clarke Quay, CHIJMES, ChinaBlack and New Bar Asia are all excellent night spots. Hawker stalls all over town also offer varied and affordable food.

Attica is a great nightclub but there are many there. Moreover, I loved some Indian restaurants there and some Chinese which were delicious.

Lots of small "hidden" places on Boat Quay and Clarke Quay. Also good spots in China Town and in Chimes. Highly recommend all four places!

Staff club on campus is ok, everything else is quite far away and has to be planned in advance. No spontaneous nights out.

M. Sultan road was my first option when going out but there are places all over the down town area.
