Bergen is a great place, and a lot of fun. I would recommend NHH to anyone who is not necessarily looking for a big city, and who likes nature and skiing!

Plan to spend time travelling around Norway - there's so much beauty to see, and so many things to do! Also, don't forget to go on a boat cruise - either a mini-cruise to Denmark or on Hurtigruten, up the coast of Norway to Nord Kapp. They're fun trips!

the nightlife is really expensive, as much as 70 NOK for one beer. Drink before you go to a club and import as much alcohol as possible when you come to Norway

Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
There is no better experience than to live with 500 students from all over the world at the same place. It makes it really easy to get to know new people. To live at the Hatleberg Residence made my exchange semester to the best 5 months of my life.

The first month's rent, as well as a deposit are due in residence upon arrival. To save money, don't eat out - it's very expensive!
