You'll have VIP access to Velvet, the local nihgtclub. It's not the classiest place in the world, but when you fill it up with 50 of your international friends, you're bound to have a great time! Okallagan's and Murphy's bar were also great hang out spots. Don't miss the parties put on by the Student board. Expect to party more than you ever have before at the start of the fall semester. You'll go non stop for the first month.

There's always a party. People go out every single night, so you'll always have somebody to go with. The school organizes a lot of events, especially parties. Most clubs play Euro dance and that's something I didn't really like. Otherwise, Velvet is a good one, Emporium, Bayou... The Underground is popular for karaoke. As for bars, O'Kallaghans is good, and there are several English / Scottish pubs along the river.

There a couple of discos (Aqua and Moonlight) that are really good when the University organises there parties. Another way of having fun are the different bars located in Place d'Erlon.

There are many bars and clubs in Rouen. Good place to sit and hang around is Irish bar O'Kallaghan's (check out St. Patrick's Day in March). Popular clubs include Emporium and Velvet.

La Brasse (in Avenue d'Epernay) was the local pub for CESEM (the program i studied) students. Les Champs Elysees is a very nice nightclub, not far from La Brasse.
Reims cathedral is beautiful and really worth visiting, other than that, being in the Champagne region, you have the opportunity to visit some of the best "caves de champagne".
