I think that the accomodation provided is of a good standard, however there are discrepancies in prices between different halls of residence that do not corespond to the prices. Some halls of residence are of better or equal quality and are much cheaper than the others.

I wish I had known...
As student broad, i didn´t really choose the university, for germany it was this one.
Otherwise during my stay i follow lecture and have a trianing period in a research laboratory, so for question 3 in academic, i would say that i did have any exams, just a report at the end of the year.

Be prepared to be alone and feel out of place for a few days... It's normal but it will pass! Take something to entertain you like dvds or something you like to do alone for the first days. Take some pictures from your friends to put in your room.

Its very good. The Erasmus Association works very good. Just remember to arrive there a weak earlier to buy a book that has all the courses and send e-mails to the teachers saying that you're erasmus and asking to go to their courses.

If you are thinking of going then go! If you don't have much money you can always find a hob anywhere - it easy. You will have lots of fun and the grades usually are better than when we are in our own country ;)

If you are looking for a place to chil out don't forget to visit 'Kultfabrik' where you can choose many kinds of clubs and bars with various musics and themes. Also, near Olympia Park there is ZHS (Zentrale Hochschul Sport) where as students register many sport programs of a reasonble fee. If you are looking for cafes, there are lots of cafes along the leopoldstrasse until Muenchner Freiheit. Also, near Odeonsplatz there are also many kinds of clubs.
For the events, definitely you should go look Octoberfest which lasts for 2 weeks staring on the last week of September!
In addition to this, there are lots of operas or exhibitions for students!

There's so much to do - so many new friends to party with and visit. Also, the studies are more relaxed than in Sweden resulting in more time to spend money.
