I wish I had known...
Only two dorms had internet hook ups, other than that it was all in the computer labs. Also had to pay for internet based on megabyte used. Don't expect housing like in the states, the flat I lived in on campus had a wood burning stove for it's primary heating source.

Final comments
Do not buy travel insurance in the states, during registration they make you buy a specific type of insurance. Make sure you have it, or you will be double insured. Also make sure to travel around both islands, and to take classes with field trips. It is a beautiful country that is easy to get around.

The snowboarding wasn't as good as I thought. I also wish I had lived in Christchurch from the start instead of living on campus for a semester.

Lincoln is a great Uni, it is small which was a nice change for me and the poeple were so nice. Lincoln was challenging, but I learned a lot in addition.

New Zealand is a beautiful country with so much oppurtunity. The nightlife is always going off, the people are so accepting and the lifestyle is so laid back.

Christchurch is a very lively city that always offers things to do. The nightlife is awesome. The strip is where most of the good clubs are located, but all around the city there are so many great places.

Anywhere in Christchurch for good food, and fun bars. The strip is a good place to look, also Shooters and the Grumpy Mole are fun. Make sure to go and watch some Rugby at Jade Stadium
