Mainly I was content with housing in Letterkenny but internationals didn't have a choice of choosing a cheaper accomodation even though there was some available. But all in all, nothing to complain.

I was indepentent of anyone, had a lot of space and met nice new people.

Arrange it so that you'll live close to the center or take a car, cause there hardly any public transport.

Prices are very high if you rent a house via LYIT. If you do it yourself, you spare a lot. A good address for housing is www.daft.ie

If I would go back to Letterkenny I would prefer an apartment in the city center. "My house" was too far away from the university and the city center (about half an hour)
