Courses focusing on theories and practices in studying and analyzing different mechanisms of power and control as well as vast variety of gender studies from some of the most well-known Finnish gender studies veterans are more than beneficial for a student focusing on strengthening their expertise on those areas.

Library is lacking physical copies on many books forcing students to rely on electronic material.

I chose Lapin Yliopisto for my Erasmus experience and I could not choose a better university. The teaching staff was understanding and well-prepared. The classe I attended proved to be useful and the multicultural context made myself feel completely at ease. As a result, my Erasmus experience went by too fast! I would definitely recommend Lapin Yliopisto.
