it really depends, some halls are new and clean (like mine) but other ones can be really old. Nevertheless, there is a good atmosphere most of the time and most of them are quite central.

A magic place, where students have the chance to meet and spend time together. The food was awful though.

Acadaemically the school is excellent..especially in the field of science, law and medicine. So chose this university!
The social aspect: You have to really look around..be sure u go to the fresher's fair..where u can chek out the different societies.

Don't let the city overcome you:sometimes it seems so big that you can't actually cope with it but don't worry:is not as bad as it seems!!

apparently studenthouse organise really cheap travels for students (Scotland/Isle of Sky etc.); also coach travels are not too expensive when you invest in a coach travel card which is about £10
