the good thing about king's college is that there are students from everywhere in the world, most of them do not have english as mother tongue. This way, not only are you not treated differently if you have an accent or speak another language, but it also motivates you to learn the "common" language.

As my first degree in University of Istanbul was conducted in English language I was already very familiar with using the language in academical way. I, however, improved my ability of speaking fluently in everyday life.

There was no one who spoke my language in the place where I was living, and that helped a lot to improve my English. I also took a course on English at the university, which helped to correct mistakes.
