it really depends, some halls are new and clean (like mine) but other ones can be really old. Nevertheless, there is a good atmosphere most of the time and most of them are quite central.

I enjoyed immensely the continuous contact with lots of other students from all over the world, with whom I soon established a strong friendship.

Acadaemically the school is excellent..especially in the field of science, law and medicine. So chose this university!
The social aspect: You have to really look around..be sure u go to the fresher's fair..where u can chek out the different societies.

Don't let the city overcome you:sometimes it seems so big that you can't actually cope with it but don't worry:is not as bad as it seems!!

apparently studenthouse organise really cheap travels for students (Scotland/Isle of Sky etc.); also coach travels are not too expensive when you invest in a coach travel card which is about £10
