My apartament was really prette even though a little too small for 2 perosns. I had my independence, but that was not a obstacle in the meeting of new fiends

The local languafe of common people was not always easy to understand. In the university tachers were very nice and spoke properly in any situation. Living abroad is absolutely necessary in order to learn the language and the culture.

Improved a lot my German knowledges. Together even with foreign students I used to speak German. I forgot a bit English! It was almost impossible sometimes what local old people were telling to you because of their Bayerisch strong dialect performances!

Very good and clean space even than little enough for one person, good social life. Possibility of sharing infos with other foreign students and to ask for help to native students at the residence.

food and general items in the shops are cheaper than in the uk, but because i was having such a good social life, i ended up spending a lot of money going out. i also used the phone a lot more than i would have done in england and i travelled a lot too which is obviously expensive but nevertheless cheaper than it would have been in england!
