Overall
Johnson & Wales University is not the common college since first each school year is divided by trimesters. These makes the students focus more on classes for a period of less time, these mean you never lose the intrest in the class since you dont have it for a long period of time. The other positive side in having trimesters is that you get to have more classes each year, since you have fall, winter, & sprng.
The classes in Johnson & Wales are small and very integrated learning style. Since they are small the teacher gets to interact with the students. These helps the students because you get to ask more questions, and have a more personal relationship with the teacher. You get to meet your pear and work with them as well.
The campus is not that big so it is easy to get around since you dont have a big campus. The school offers many oppoertunities for the university to get to gether in activities. The first year you are required to live in dorms. The second year you can choose to live in bigger dorms, or move off campus. Since providence is a small city most apartment are around the university so it is easy to move off campus.

Academic
Course recommendations
The financial services courses Johnson & Wales offers are very good and the teachers inflict much information and knowledge how it is in the world outside of the books which I think is important.
