The local dialect "Oberösterreichisch" was pretty hard to understand. I was lucky to get known many austrian people, who were so nice, that they tought me their local language, so that I could understand them in their everyday life.

Travel around as much as you can, take part of local cultural events as much as possible - amazing country, people, nature etc.
