Don't freak out the first few days everything will be ok. Try to meet as many people as possible and mingle with the locals. Stay clear of any clubs that are too american because you could go to those clubs in the US.

Course recommendations
The courses are all great! But, too many annoying and spoiled Americans students. It's hard to find cool foreign students to chill with.

It's hard to study when you're traveling and hanging out all the time! But, I really enjoyed my courses, I learnt so much and the professors are really cool and sweet (they're like kinda family), not stand offish like in America. Classes were generally easy and not demanding, and American style with some papers and two exams.

The classes were taught both in English and in Italian so you could technically go and not learn the language excpet for one basic grammar class which was a disappointment to a language major.

I wish I had known...
I wish I had realized more housing options. I though the safest thing to do was to stay in the residential hotel; however, I think I would have enjoyed an apartment more.
