Personal comments
My overall language and communication experience had been great because of my ability to get along, talk with, and interact with people at all levels. In return the local nationals would teach me many slang words and sayings and so on. The only disappointment that I came across was the commonality and at times the constant usage of English. I went to school with many of the elite (financially and socially) of Mexico. Many of those students are Fluent in English and usually French or another language. Therefore they were eager to learn English and American slang from me as I was from them. Also many things were in English. An Example: the movies at the cinemas. In general I had no problems with both the language and communication in my everyday life in Mexico.

Personal recommendation
I recommend that TEC works on developing a greater job network with the local multinationals/corporations to place it's students in internships, CO-OPs, and so on. Besides that, it is a great developing network of universities and I recommend that TEC keeps moving forward.

It's one of the top schools in Mexico but by no means the only school. It has a good sized exchange program and excellent resources like a completely wireless campus. Student life is very good!

Travel every weekend! The bus system in mexico is cheap and convenient. Plan to meet at the bus station every friday with an open mind and "where to next" attitude and you will fully experience everything Mexico has to offer.

ITESM: my second home

Overall
I really love my school, for me it is my second home. It offers a lot of different extracurricular courses such as dancing, playing an instrument, cooking, makeup, theatre, swimming, writting, marcial arts, and a lot more. The installations are very nice and they are constantlly improving them and taking care of them. It has a lot of agreements with different universities in every continent and also courses in English and language courses. Technology is very important in my university and it has a very flexible model between digital and physical courses

Best night club is BOSSE on Fridays (real chic), Walstreet on Tuesdays, La Marche is always good for free drinks. Travelling is the best...every weekend. Manzanillo is 4 hrs, Puerto Vallarta only 5hrs on bus. Everything is close to Guadalajara. The only disappointing this is that I HAVE NO MEXICAN FRIENDS. The school is kinda snotty, guys everywhere only want to sleep with you, and mexican girls seem kind of competitive with you. I am quite diappointed I don't have any good friends that are native, but I have the best exchange friends.
