Most of the time we were talking English, because international students don't really integrate with the Hungarian students. So most of the time it was English, and because my home study is in English as well. I didn't have any troubles in communicating with others.

Make sure you can track your bank accounts online, otherwise with converting currency, bank fees, and no balance summaries it is a hassle to keep track of.

I was born in Hungary and left when I was 9, but speak the language at home. Trust me, the less Hungarian you know the more enjoyable your experience will be. The language at the ISC is English and most profs were decent, although some were flat-out awful.
