Overall
The HU has a lot to offer. From exchange programs all around the globe to study groups.
Unfortunately the HU had some - questionable - profs. I won't go into details here. Anyway most faculties are really nice.

Go to "Humboldt Humboltianus", the International Students Organization: there you will meet firnads in a While. And, overall, be friendly to everybody. Germans can be very nice.

Big courses with lots of students and sophisticated teachers. Teachers are real specialists in their topics. Several opportunities besides the subject of your studies, e.g. language and career courses and sports activities. Nice campus, that is separated in different parts that are in different areas of Berlin.
