i wish i had known more about what i could expect. i was totally surprised upon arrival here, and i could have been better prepared if i had a bit more knowledge about the local life. it was an unforgettable, life enriching experience, nonetheless.

i would recommend this university to students who are eager and who posesses drive and ambition. it is also important to mention that independent thinking proves to be a requirement to achieve success here as many issues will require your ability to make things happen for yourself.

plan carefully what exactly you hope to achieve from your study abroad... and stick to your plan!!! if you come from outside europe, try to visit as many places possible. if its your first travel experience away from home, be prepared to experience some sadness and loneliness, and learn to rely on those close to you... they will experience the same feelings. lastly, have loads of fun!!!!!

During my recent academic course, I had the opportunity to gain practical experience in the theoretical aspects of the subject matter. The course demanded a high level of attention, proactiveness, and problem-solving ability, which enabled me to develop and showcase these valuable skills. Additionally, I expanded my knowledge by familiarizing myself with new software tools like MATLAB and Python, which further enhanced my technical proficiency. I must also commend the faculties for their support in our academic endeavors, creating a conducive learning environment.

the university makes your studies interesting and very interactive. the fact that it is a university of applied sciences means that we put everything we have learned into practice. we work a lot in teams. what i like the most is the fact that we, students, are friends with teachers and talk to them informally after classes. they are super friendly and helpful.

Pourquoi?
The most common types of accomodation are room in the apartments or room in a students'camp. The main advantage of apartments is that you share it with just 2 other students, what gives better atmosphere for studying . But at the same time apartments don't mean that you are isolated from other students. One may think that in dormitories you have more friends, parties, fun or whatever what is connetced to students'life. I think that living in apartments is a choice of the way of living. Either you want to concentrate on studying , or on spending time with other students you can do everything. But if you live in a camp, it is almost impossible to run away from other students- but sometimes it is necessary... So that is why I would choose to live in apartments again.

Apartments differ from each other by size, cleanliness, and location. But as a whole, you share apartments just with 2 people. It is not many , I think. All apartments are furnished enough. The location is also very suitable- all are around Hogeschool. It takes 5-10 minutes to get it. If something in apartments breaks down ( heating, electricity etc) you can call to the organization that deals with rent of your aparments and the following day a master must come. As I know all students are content with accomodation more or less.

Life Sciences at the school prepares you for communicating your research and the results to other. You will get stimulated to think about you research and what the results implicate. Nice teacher that show their passion for their work which motivates you to do better. Mistakes you make will be discussed with your teacher and they will think with you how to prevent it from happening again.
