Everybody in A;dam speaks English but when socialising it was important to understand others, but came into contact with people from all over the world so English was the main language spoke in the mainstream

The Kooi, school bar/club on thursdays after school when weekend starts for most of the students. You meet a lot of people there.
Queens night at the beginning of may. Lots of happening in Amsterdam.

The best to go is Leidseplein where you can find many diferent kind of places. i whole the whole Amsterdam is an experience. The center is like a small city inside a bigger one. Very cozy!
