It is a good idea to buy a discount card for train trips. It costs about 50€, and it gives you a 50% discount in every train ticket taht you buy. TRAIN TICKETS ARE REALLY EXPENSIVE!!!
If you love arts, you can get a Museum card which allows you to enter most museums for free.

Learn to cook, food is expesive and portions are small. But if you can cook you will save a mint. Get a korting card, 40% off travel within the Netherlands by train.
