Group work is essential to complete the study, therefore I recommend to work in a group where you can interact with students from different countries. The advantage to work in such a group is to be trained working with people with different background, thoughts, behaviour and culture but also breaking other boundaries. You will experience a lot of difficulties, but if you are able to manage these difficulties and give good performance, this will be an assert for your future.

Improvement regarding to the international office could be made, to be more supportive to foreign students.

Telephone cost was less than at home because I was in touch with my friends via internet. Via internet, you could send email or even talk to your friends. Housing cost was defenately higher than at home, because the Netherlands has higher housing cost, due to the fact, that real estate is more expensive than in Germany

This is the best way to learn the native language more efficiently.

I think that it is better to discover things by oneself.

Try to mix with people from other countries, not just your own language speaker. You have the chance to meet Indonesians, whose culture and lifestyle is completely different. Take advantage of it!

As long as you have everything in writing you will be ok, stand up for what you need and you will succeed. The word bargain is a strong dutch word.

holland is not about the acedemic life, its about how you grow as a person. This will translate into priority building and social and cultural awareness.
