I have to say that Brussel was not a choice on my application of my home institution

Final comments

There is nothing to complain when we talk about help from the CIS. I went to Barcelona, Paris, Londen. It is cheaper to travel from Brussels.

The erasmus office and mostly the people that work in are alwais ready for help you for everything and everytime, the student life is quite good, there are a lot of clubs for enjoy your time here.

big thank you to the coordinator - he made things work! dont go to the BISC - its a rip-off and not worth trying, in general concerning housing: talk to the landlords on the phone and try to negotiate the rent:eg you stay for 6 months but paya little higher rent and so not be bound to a years contract. go out and travel around. belgium is not only brussels!

Students can obtain a very cheap (25 euros) ticket for a whole year for the public transport in Brussels. Contact the Erasmus coordinator for details.

travel as much as you can, try to see the country and learn the culture of the country and fellow students! dont be shy but try tom be open and meet as much people as you can, everybody is in the same situation!

I would recommend evryone to go abroad, although I didn't go to a far country I enjoyed mi stay very much. This is your oppurtunity to learn people from different countries and to learn how to handle with new situations. so I would say GO.
