Fianland is an expensive country for Polish citizens but is by far the cheapest of Scandinavian countries

I discovered a culture different from mine and it was a great experience. indeed, I became a sauna addict! I visited a country I didn't know which is very beautiful: I went to Lapland and saw reindeers. I also went to St Petersburg with the university and i visited Stockolm, Copenhaguen, Bergen and Tallin myself. I also spent a week-end with other exchange students in the Lakeland. All these trips were amazing

Finland give you the great opportunity to travel a lot, you can go to Sweden, Russia, Estonia, Norway....it's just besides!!!

Nightlife in Mikkeli is fairly entertaining despite the small size of the city. There is not many clubs in the city, however it is nice because there are rarely any lineups. The small size of the city means you need only to take a taxi when it is very cold, otherwise it is only a fifteen minute walk to any of the clubs. There are some events which you must do while studying here. First of all is the cruise to Stockholm. It is very cheap, there is cheap beer in the tax free shop, and Stockholm is a beautiful city to visit. Other places of interest are Tallinn, St. Petersburg, and Lapaland.

Don´t be afraid about the weather in the winter! It rarely rains, so the cold is "dry" and it feels different. You will survive it without any trouble! Travel: Cruise to Stockholm , Tallinn in Estonia (ferries every day: departure at 8 in the morning and return at 22.), St Pertersburg, and to stay in Finland: Lapland.

I was very lucky because I didn't have to look for an accolodation myself. Moreover, most of the exchange students going to my school were living there: it was a means to meet people! I had the opportunity to share an appartment with 2 students and it was a great experience. The location of the accomodation was quite good: it took 5 minutes by train to go to the centre of the city.
