Everything start in the "container", cool people from all the world, our living room was the reunion point for the other "containers". Then the Grotte Mart, 10 mn by bike...the best, "three sisters", Enzo, Sally´s ... a lot of cafe´s, icecream stores, the Martini Tower. Groningen is beautiful, clean and save. The Dutch people are very friendly and excelent host, no discrimination, happy people everywhere and educated. There where a lot of trips organized by the University with afortable prices, in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. I went in one to Rotterdam and to Berlin. The best!!! I have friends, good friends all over the world.

I spent less money in travels because even if I traveled a lot the flights from Bremen are a way less expensive than flights from Madrid and the possible destination countries are much more.

Chaotic potential
Laura D
Holanda, Grado
Comunicación y Ciencias de la Información, 2021
Valoración global
It's fair to say that the IC program at least has a lot of potential. You learn about anything related to communication, from Marketing to PR to journalism, and sometimes with real clients. Most teachers are supportive and the overall environment is very amicable and international. However, for people coming from organised countries like Germany for example, the adjustment to the more chaotic way of working here can be quite difficult and potentially dissatisfying (depending on what your focus is).
Lastly, the campus in general is very clean  and inviting.

Business IT in Applied Science university
Boyan D
Bélgica, Grado
Ciencias Informáticas / Tecnologías de la Información, 2021
Valoración global
Conforming to the reputation of Applied Science universities in the Netherlands, the Business, IT and Management (BITM) course at Hanze is fairly easy and straightforward. There are a wide variety of courses covering a range of subjects in the three areas (Business, Computer Science, and Management), with a big focus on the link between business and IT. Most of the faculty are friendly and helpful. A good stepping stone to more advanced studies for students with little prior experience in IT.

A favor
Wide variety of topics, friendly faculty, practical assignments, easy
En contra
None of the courses go too deep in the subject matter; very little focus on software and Computer Science
