Personal spending habits
The overall prices of consumer goods, services and other are more expensive than at home. Then again i didn't go out as much as i do at home, for instance. Ended up spending all my money anyways ;O)

You need a local student card to get the student discounts for travelling etc. you can get the student card for free from the school. At least i did. Getting a membership for the local student union is also valuable, as well as voluntary working at Kroa, as you can get discounts from the concerts and events organized at the school. I would have ended up spending much more money if i hadn't gotten the staff -discounts.
