Food: here the food is pretty expensive, and without really good quality Telephone: By opening an account in an Irish bank, I got a free mobile phone, with £50 call offered! Accomodation: globally, the lifecost in Ireland is higher than at home Nightlife: more than 200 pubs in Galway, implying many temptations!

In order to heat the house, you can't only use electricity, because too expensive, therefore, you have to buy some heating oil, which is pretty expensive as well!!!

I tried Yoga by BurrenYoga Centre which was really good. There were three Drumm Classes run at the time in the city...Search Niall O Flinn. I would also recomend 5-Rythms Dance Class. Go to concert of BARA and KILA. The school year in Ireland is the shortest in Europe. That gives plenty o time for travelling which is what you really should do in Ireland. Very beautiful.

Final comments
The experience abroad is very good. GMIT is an institute of Technology NOT a University, so don't get surprised. Enjoy your time in Ireland and travel as much as you can. Jobs are easy to find in case you need it. Ireland is a expensive country for food.
