The international officer loks for the accomodation and they are pretty OK. It's good to arrive to a country that you don't know and have a bed to sleep the first night. The accomodation it's very close to the Institute but far away from town. There is a public bus to connect.

“Accomodation sucks”

Housing is a big problem and even though the school tries to help students, its near to impossible to find accomodation. The course is well thoug-out and most lectures are relevant for the course. The pandemic definitely lowered the quality of teaching in my experience, but I can't really point at university for that. GMIT has now become a Technical University which is a hige pro. In my case work placement was cancelled due to the pandemic

less weight on the final exams, it puts alot of pressure on the student for one test.
