I really enjoyed the swedish life during my 7 months for a lot of reasons : to learn another culture, to improve your language, discover others countries around your host country...

I reall encouraged students to go in Sweden ( a small number of people know these Nordic countries) and it's really a good experience!!

its better than my home-university!! very nice profs and good infrastructure... and, not to forget, the calm and relaxed scandinavian style of teaching is impressive!!!

My current programme of study is quite innovative. It is an International Masters Programme in Information Technology and Learning , a Research intensive, interdisciplinary course that exposes students to cross/cutting themes in Educational Sciences, Applied Information Technology and Educational Technology, so graduates are able to become solution providers in different learning settings-schools, workplace, leisure establishments, etc.

The programme provides an opportunitry to experience state of the art practice through students involvement in Internships or Design Studios. Intersnhips could also be in Research groups at the University, especially for those with plan to continue to PhD studies.

Points forts

The international composition of the programme students is a plus, providing an experience in cross cultural communications and relationships.

Inconvénients

Accommodation problem is a sore issue and major challenge for International Students in Sweden

I had a great time because I met so amny people from different countries and also experienced the real Swedish "city" life, as the city is the secong largest in Sweden and not just a university town. This was a real bonus for me, as I love discovering new cities. The exchange program at this university was extremely well organised. There was always an activity planned. For example, we were taken on a tour of the Volvo factory and also a famous brewery in Gothenburg. It was a great cultural experience and at the same time, I studied hard and partied hard.

Try to go to Stockholm, Uppsala, Kiruna and Lund. If you have time and money left, you have to go to Norway to see the Fjords and to Kopenhagen. Both places are not very far from Gothenburg.
