I did not know a word of Dutch when I arrived but after an intensive course I understood a lot and learned to speak and interact with the Dutch.

In our country the official languages are Mother tongue Kinyarwanda, English and French. the campus main language is french and english

dutch people can speak very excellent english, so there is no problem for me to communicate with them in both study or living life,etc.

99% speak very good english, but not my roommate! And of course the locals sometimes like to communicate in Dutch between themselves.

Everybody speaks english very well. Speakink dutch is really not necessary. No problems in communications!
