The Netherlands are quite cheap compered to Sweden. However, since it is located in central Europe it is easy to travel, which is the reason for my travelexpenses were higher than in Sweden.

At home, usually there are a few things that are paid by parents, but here i had to do it by myself.
I still live with my parents, so i dont have to pay any rent,which was the most expensive, although it was a very good residence.

We get used to cook in the dormitory all together. I did not use telephone, my family and friends were calling me. I was sharing my home with another exchange student so its quite affordable. I was using bicycle to go everywhere.
