Avis sur Eesti Muusikaakadeemia (EAM)

In 1989, right before the 70th anniversary of the school, its former name - the Tallinn Conservatoire - was resumed, but already in 1993, due to growing foreign relations, this was substituted with a new name, the Estonian Academy of Music. During the years 1987-1993, extensive renovation and reconstruction took place in the building of the Drama Faculty. The faculty could now use the whole two-storey building. In 1995, the faculty was renamed the Higher Theatre School. The study environment improved tremendously with the completion of the new building - currently it is without doubt one of the most modern and technologically advanced conservatoire buildings in Europe.
