Bonne expérience !

France, Graduate
Marketing and Sales Management, 2020
Overall
L'ensemble des cours est intéressant. Une grande partie du corps professoral est étrangère, ce qui favorise l'ouverture d'esprit et la mixité. L'anglais est omniprésent durant toute la durée des études. J'ai beaucoup aimé mes études !

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
An apartment, but in the city, not near school. Why? Because now I know Paris and would prefer to live nearer to the center and pay a bit less rent than the pricey district of La Defense!

Personal comments
Overall, the housing was fine. Some others were in more modern accomodations at Pythagore and Citea, whereas Les Laureades where I was is slightly older. Still, the atmosphere of many students, most ERASMUS, was perfect for meeting people and having fun. Also, rolling out of bed and crossing the street to go to class was a plus.

Personal recommendation
It was very professional, they hired very professional people as teachers. People who had most of the time much working experience in the fields they were teaching. So that was quit interesting. Furthermore, anyone can go there. You can make it yourself as hard or easy as possible. Erasmusstudents can chose the course them selves. There are also a lot of course offerd in english. Personally, I feel like I learned a lot, so my recommendation would be to continue as they did before.

Studying in Paris was for me a great experience. I learned a lot, not only at school, also outside. At such an exchange program you will meet a lot of international students from all over the world. If you want to learn the language don't hesitate to get in contact with the french students. They might seem closed at the beginning. But in fact, many of them have been abroad them selves, at least that was the case in my group. They were very open minded. So I only recommend to be open minded as well. Furthermore, Paris is a great city to live in. It has a lot of culture and the night life is also very nice.
