no, everything is cheaper than in the nothern europe so you tend to spend more in order to get much more. Japanese restaurants for example are much more accesible than in Belgium. the quality of life can be very high for a relativly low increase of your expenses

In Barcelona, and in Spain in general, the nightlife is well developed. People eat quite late (10pm) and go out later in the night. My favourite night spots were: the mare magnum, la oveja negra and the olimpic port.
