Althought Castilan is widely spoken they are a LOT of foreigners in BCN and its up to you wheter you want to speak English, French or any other language than Spanish. I made my efforts to interact with Spaniards.

Be sure to have good health insurance. Be sure to register at the police & immigration offices if you are to study in Spain for more than a few months (it saves a lot of trouble - and money - should you become ill or have an injury)

The good thing about going to ESADE is that everything takes place in Spanish. The local students are eager to get to know new people, and they give us the opportunity to really practice and learn the language.
