Strasbourg offered many interesting forms of entertainment. One of these was towards the end of June when a complete day and night of musical festivals takes place. You get to hear different beats and sounds from all over the globe. This is an ideal time for students to meet local people as well as visitors from other countries.

IECS organises an integration weekend that helps everyone get to know each other and see a bit of Europe- ours was in Rome!
Jimmy's Bar, The Irish Times and Academie de la Bière are probably the best spots i've found. Day trips to Germany for cheap shopping should be done whenever possible!

mosquito bar, living room, every thursday there are university party, salamandre (it was in 2007, so I am not sure if they still exist or if they're still good places to go!)

Jimmie's was the favourite bar of the Erasmus students, and Café des Anges was nice, too. Also plenty of other nice places but I don't recall the names anymore. The best parties and events were organised by IECS, though!

Murphy's, Blue B, but everywhere is great when you're in a group. It is a great town.
