It gives you independence. Living in your own flat makes you more responsable of what you are doing. Great exoerience.

To get the opportunity to meet new people apart from those un my university. But I would not choose the same place.

Th euniversity does not provide its own accommodation. It does however have a notice board for international students looking for somewhere to live, which proved to be very useful later on in my stay.
