Didnt really speak much at the beginning but my listening vastly improved from watching tv and listening in lessons. Gradually my spoken language improved from talking to students and simple things like food shopping!! I would suggest to most people that they should join a club or society which are at the main politecnic which is quite far away but a great way to make friend and practise spainsh!

Cafe Royal near to Plaza Real:Cool music and a nice atmosphere. Danzatoria Bar in Tibidabo: Visually ive never seen anything like it. A bit out of the way but definitly worth the visit. Jamboree (Mondays): Jam sessions with a cool atmosphere. Saturdays: For those that like RnB its definitly the place to be. Be warned, it does get very crowded.

Course recommendations
the courses are not very difficult but you have to pay attention that the teachers speak castillian and not catalan, which is very different.

most of the time the assignments are kind of vague, and you have to ask again what the exact idea of the project is. this could be improved by the teachers

Don't waste your money on this

Overall
This is the worst school in the world.
I am finishing Masters in Marketing and Sales and it is a disaster. The school is a mess, no one knows who is responsible for what, so no one can help you because they push this "ask him" card and just make you walk all over the city because they simply don't know a thing. Same goes for emails. Do not expect them to answer once you paid your fee, their "customer experience" ends right after they receive your transfer.
The school asks you for your english certificate, while I doubt they ever asked teachers to provide one, as most of them speak very broken English, which is still bearable. The main issue is that they do not test teacher on plagiarism as you can easily find online some of their materials. Then why bother paying for this master?
On top of the useless content, the school's main advantage was double diploma, which they advertise here and there. But! They forgot to mention that you will need to pay extra for it at the end of the year, additionally to the costs you already spent on this useless program.
Cherry on the pie: We had classes 5 hours a day Mon-Thur, sometimes Friday. Some equipment did not work, we always had to "call the guy", also had to fix AC (no idea why they did not check stuff before letting students in), and they could not provide a water dispenser even after asking multiple times as it is simply inhumane having 50 people for 5 hours with no water, for the price we paid I am sure they could afford at least water in the classrooms.
Oh and if you have seen their Instagram account with a lot of cool activities with big fancy companies and student with happy smiles enjoying their time going through Master, sorry to break it to you: it is a fake. We never seen any of those big companies and one of our teachers told us that EAE instagram uses same content that was created during these years (!!) over and over again.
As we are finishing our program during COVID times we never got refunded, but were made to agree to term and conditions that of course state that we cannot get money back, when we didn't have an option of not accepting.
The biggest take away from my Masters: sometime you might need a Master degree to never lose money on useless programs again. Hope you'll be smarter!

before I went to Spain I had already had 2 years of basic spanish knowledge, which is definatly neccesary. in the beginning everything goes very fast, but after one or two months I noticed that I could actually follow the course without too many difficulties
