Have in mind that while you live in another country you have to accomodate, get used and enjoy, because you are going to afront a lot of situations that they aren' going to be resolved as you would have done at home.

It´s better to rent an apartment an live with roomates, divide the expenses between the roomates, choose an apartment in the middle of the center and the university so you can move better and start to know the city

An advantage of learning every day the language was because not only at the university you studied it, also because most of my friends where natives, in this case they were most of the french, what at that time every day i was with them...so if i wanted to communicate well they also were helping me.
