Final comments
I have travelled accross Denmark (Jutland, Odense) and youth hostels are good here. Ithink it is also a good idea to go to sweden

*staying one semester is too little, if possible stay at least two semesters *be prepared to meet people from all around the world but hardly from the country you are visiting

*try to live in a dorm *focus on the courses quite a bit, they are great *take part in the buddy programme, introduction week and other international activities, they are helpfull and fun *don't miss the international evening at the cellar bar

*try to get a bike (used) and rather pay a little bit more, it'll save repairing expenses *public transportation is expensive, figure out quickly what suits best for you *go see Stockholm, Gothenborg (Sweden) *I went to Tallinn, Estonia and it was just wonderful * Norway is nice but very expensive; ferry trips though can be quite cheap

Try to visit as much as you can of your host country. You'll learn a lot about their costums.

DTU allows you to experience a peaceful environment, with professors available to help you. The facilities and laboratories of the university are always very reliable and innovative and if you have the courage to get involved you will be able to achieve any experience you want

DTU allows you to have complete freedom and autonomy with regard to study courses. You can choose whether to do an internship or dedicate yourself to a project in particular with specific professors or even choose to attend courses and projects in other universities in the country.

Copenhagen is a beatiful city but all Denmark is nice to visit specially togheter with your friends. it is not true that it's always raining.
