It's the best place for a farang, and also you can meet other exchange students there. It is good and quite close to the faculty

i think the dorms are not that bad, even though i never saw one. but dorms are mostly for undergraduates.

The Appartementhouse was just 15 min walk away from the university. It was clean and friendly.

My place was incredibly cheap (3000THB) and very close to the university.. This is what I wanted, although it was not of very high Standard (e.g.: No AirCon)
