What helped me a lot to communicate/meet students was the dynamism of two associations :
1) GISA = Graduate international students association
2)MBA students association
I thank them again !
barbecues, partys, journeys, ... everything was an excuse to organise something

Almost all clubs are on the same street which name I can't remember now. Modern Embassy is great when there is Intercultural night (attention : 21 +)
Walk the freedom trail, the city is beautifull to hang around, nice houses, lots of shops, not too much sky-grappers ...
